The Bob Schieffer School focuses on seven tools of mass communication: statistics, research and technology, free media, diversity, critical and creative thinking, theory, and ethical standards. The project consisted of a three-story addition of 10,000 sf and 6,000 sf of renovation to the existing building. The program entails new TV studios, radio broadcast studios, classroom space, and offices. The project also included complex audio/visual integration and sensitive acoustic treatments.
